In July 2015, Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation helped to found The International Garden Cities Institute to bring together, share knowledge & experience, and celebrate the heritage of Garden Cities, and places inspired by them, across the world.

The Institute is a central resource for academics, professionals and individuals who share our interest and commitment to the Garden City Movement, and an advocate for Garden City principles when planning new places.

The Institute’s Founding President is the Marquess of Salisbury, and other Founding Partners include The University of Hertfordshire, the Town & Country Planning Association, The Royal Town Planning Institute and The Royal Institute of British Architects.
