“…It is deeply to be deplored that the people should continue to stream into the already over-crowded cities, and should thus further deplete the country districts…” Ebenezer Howard, ‘Garden Cities of Tomorrow’, 1902

We regret we are currently CLOSED due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We’re here to tell the story of Letchworth’s legacy and influence on town planning across the world.

Here on our website, you’ll discover some Garden City essentials, but there’s all this and more at our exhibition home, 296 Norton Way South. Watch our video now for a sneak peek.

So make sure you come and say hello to find out more. It’s completely free and we’re open every Friday and Saturday 10:00 to 17:00 or by appointment any other time if you can tell us when you’re coming.

You can also hire our unique spaces to hold a talk, meeting or gathering. We’ve space for 20-25, with integrated AV, catering options and landscaped gardens.

All of our tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits (provided in our Reading Room, free, to all visitors) are Certified Fair Trade.
